If you are looking for something fun to do, attend the Celtic Spring Festival in Anchorage, Alaska! The festival will take place on Saturday April 12th, 2014 from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The Celtic Community of Alaska invites you to celebrate the arrival of spring with a new skill! If you have any interest in music, dance, crafts, or learning about Celtic history and culture, this is the place for you. Dress comfortably!!
Every year, the Celtic Community of Anchorage Alaska brings together the best craftspeople, historians, musicians and other specialists at the Anchorage Senior Center for a day-long festival of workshops, lectures, demonstrations, etc. This year, the gamut covers an even broader spectrum of activities, from sword fighting to making fairy houses. The fees are low (about $ 10 per class), entrance to the Festival is free. There will be a special lunch prepared by the Arctic Rose restaurant. Lunch seating will be available at tables in the main lobby.
