This Saturday starts the 1st Alaska outdoors show for the year of 2014! Show is sponsored by Country Legends 100.9 Radio, and will be held at the Curtis D. Menard Sports Center on Mack Road. This is the 9th year for the Mat-Su Outdoorsman show and is the Valley’s largest trade show with over 142 booths as of now and still counting!! Many booth vendors are locals! Vendors can be from fishing guides to Alaska Adventure companies. There will be multiple show attractions enjoyable for the whole family! These attractions include seminars and demonstrations on popular out door topics, local authors, exciting events and fun youth activities. Get your book signed by your favorite local author or test ride a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle! Also, ADF&G laser shooting range will be available for kids of all ages! The Blood Bank of Alaska will have their own booth from Saturday from 9:30am-4:00pm. Call ahead of time to set up an appt. (907.222.5630) Large space has been made available outdoors for display area for boats, trailers, ATV’s, RV’s, and more! Don’t worry about paying for parking because its absolutely FREE! Expect to pay $5 for admission, however, if you have a child under 12 or you show your Military ID you will have FREE admission! Also FREE admission for everyone on Sunday from 10am-11am. At the Outdoorsman Show you can expect multiple family activities, convenient parking, excellent vendor service with a wide variety of booths on display. Mat-Su Outdoorsman Show is a 3 day event. Hours of the show will be Friday March 21st from 12:00pm-7:00pm; Saturday March 22nd from 10:00am-6:00pm; and Sunday March 23 from 10:00am-5:00pm.
